Is there a minimum period?

No.  You can rent for as short or long period as you like. You can rent for a day, a week or a month or more.  There is however a minimum amount you must pay if you choose to rent short term.  Minimum amount payable is $299, regardless of if you only rent a very short time, i.e. a week or a fortnight etc.
